Secret of Boracay Island,Philippines

Shuttered in from the rest of the island by flamboyant greens and great hills, the Newcoast Beach at Boracay's edge remains one of the best-kept secrets of Boracay where the old ways of enjoying the island are pretty much left untouched.

Few resorts and hotels have their addresses at Newcoast Beach in Boracay, which makes the place quiet and where it is still possible to find an isolated stretch of beach, but choices are can be as varied.

The golf hotel in Boracay of Fairways and Bluewater Resort is located at an exclusive beach north of the island. Called Mulligan Golf Hotel, this Fairways and Bluewater property has a Graham Marsh-designed golf course, a complete-amenity family hotel in Boracay Island, and two stretches of exclusive white beach.

Each room at the Boracay Hotel of Mulligan Golf is, spacious, tidy and unpretentious, equipped with a well-appointed interior and supplemented by the intimate, friendly vibe of the hotel's tropical island design.

Philippine Tourist Spots-Hundred Island

The HUNDRED ISLANDS are a group of 124 islands covering an area of 4,557 acres in the northern Philippine province of Pangasinan. One of the islands feature a cave that is only accessible during lowtide, and contain defined formations of stalactites and stalagmites. The islands are believed to have existed over 2 million years old and to date, only three of these islands have been developed for visiting tourists.

Philippine Tourist Spots-Pagsanjan Falls

PAGSANJAN FALLS is the Philippines most popular waterfalls and is situated in the rugged highlands of Cavinti in the Tagalog province of Laguna. The base of Pagsanjan Falls is a huge natural swimming pool with crystal clean and cool water. To reach the waterfalls, visitors ride upstream on bancas (local canoes) handled by skillful boatmen. Many smaller waterfalls are visible on the way to the main falls especially during the rainy weather. The ride downhill is a swift one where visitors get to shoot 14 roaring rapids in less than an hour.

Philippine Tourist Spots-Tubbataha Reef

The TUBBATAHA REEF is a gigantic coral reef found in the Sulu Sea, off the western province of Palawan. The reef is composed of two attolls separated by a deep channel around 5 miles wide. It is home to over one thousand species of marine animals, many of which are endangered. These species include sharks, manta rays, clownfish, and tortoises. The reef is a declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and is currently nominated as one of the world's wonders of nature.

Philippine Tourist Spots-Chocolate Hills

From a distance, the CHOCOLATE HILLS would resemble Hershey's kisses scattered across a green background. In reality, they are a group of almost symmetrical dome and cone-shaped limestone hills in the Visayan island of Bohol. Numbering around 1250+ individual hills, these hills are scattered across 3 towns and the biggest of these vary in sizes from 30 meters to 120 meters in height. During the dry season, the grass covering these hills dry up and chocolate brown earth is exposed hence the name.

Philippine Tourist Spots - Natural Wonders

TAAL VOLCANO is reputed to be the world's smallest active volcano. It is a volcanic island at the middle of a lake in the Southern Tagalog province of Batangas. Inside the volcano is the Crater Lake, and inside this lake is yet another volcanic island called Vulcan Point. A magnificent view of Taal Lake and volcano can be seen from the nearby Tagaytay highlands. Visitors need a boat ride from the shores of the big lake to get to the volcano, and horses are available for rent to explore the island.

Tourism In Puerto Galera

Puerto Galera is another famous tourist attraction from my favorite country, Philippines. Puerto Galera was located on the north shore of Mindoro Island, it is approximately 130 kilometers from the south of Manila. It consists of 12 coastal districts and one mountain district that are scattered all over the 23,247 hectares of land bordered on the north by Verder Island. Puerto Galera was famous among tourists for its large numbers of pocket beaches and snorkeling spots.

Puerto Galera is considered as one of the most beautiful and developed beach resort community in the Philippines. Tourism in Puerto Galera has started to flourished and one by one hotels, resorts, inns and restaurants have started too mushroomed within the area.

There are many things a tourist can do in Puerto Galera. Tourists can pitch tents, light bonfires, play beach volleyball, toss Frisbee, beach hopping, watch the sunset, star gazing, hiking and rock climbing. But still the main tourist attraction of Puerto Galera is its water. The crystal clear water is ideal for swimming, sailing, surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving.

Tourist Spots in Puerto Galera:

* Sabang Beach

Sabang Beach was located at Sabang Village. Sabang Village is a highly developed place that offers nearly all kinds of facilities. It has large numbers of souvenir shops, sari-sari stores, open-air bars, and four discos in the center.

* Small Lalaguna Beach

Small Lalaguna is located near Sabang Beach. Small Lalaguna is a quiet beach that has coral reefs close to the shore. Small Lalaguna is for sun bathing and snorkeling only, because of the rocks and corals that hinder the access to deeper water.

* Big Lalaguna Beach

Big Lalaguna Beach is located at the westernmost of Small Lalaguna. Big Lalaguna is a bright and sandy beach with a simple tourist infrastructure.
